GET OUT THERE,.... GO FURTHER ..... and .....MORE OFTEN  with Perth Bushwalkers Club!

We are the largest and most active of Western Australia’s bushwalking / hiking clubs and also one of the oldest clubs, with a considerable depth of experience to share.

Members enjoy a wonderfully wide range of bushwalking and other outdoors activities, many close to Perth, others in remote parts of W.A., interstate, and N.Z. Our year-round program includes half-day walks, day walks, overnight backpacking and adventurous multi-day expeditions lasting up to ten days or even longer. Our local summer activities also include easier river and beach walks, cycling and canoeing activities.

We encourage our members to develop bushwalking skills and self-reliance. We offer training opportunities in navigation (map and compass, and GPS), first aid and walk leadership, plus abseiling and canyoning. Our members also enjoy mingling socially at various relaxing Club events throughout the year.

Non-members are very welcome to visit us at our Club meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month (February to November) at Swan House, Heathcote Cultural Centre, Applecross. Or even better: Book your place now to join us on one of our regular introductory walks for intending new members!
