Coffee and tea at 6.30pm with a talk ~ 7.00 for about 1 hour including question time. The venue is City of Melville EcoHub (was Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre), 555 Leach Hwy, Winthrop WA 6150 (note that access is only available west-bound off Leach Highway).
Maybe bring your own cup, or other beverages if you prefer them.

The speaker is Roger Underwood, who will talk about "Bushfire management in WA forests".
Roger is a forester, writer and historian. Born in Perth and educated at The University of Western Australia, Roger worked for nearly fifty years in forest conservation, research and bushfire management. He has worked as a firefighter, a district and regional manager, a research manager and senior government administrator.
You can also bring your old batteries, light globes, electronics and printer cartridges to re-cycle.
