There will be a Social evening on the 1st August.

Coffee and tea at 6.30pm with a talk ~ 7.00 for about 1 hour including question time. The venue is Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre (PLEEC), 555 Leach Hwy, Winthrop WA 6150 (note that access is only available west-bound off Leach Highway).

The general public is welcome, but please RSVP to pbwcomms@gmail.com if you plan to bring a friend.

Merryn Pryor, Black Cockatoo Project Coordinator, from BirdLife, will be talking about black cockatoos, identification, biology, ecology, threats, and what people can do to help them.

You can also bring your old batteries, light globes, electronics and printer cartridges to re-cycle at PLEEC.
