GET OUT THERE,.... GO FURTHER ..... and .....MORE OFTEN  with Perth Bushwalkers Club!

Celebrating 50 years

We are the largest and most active of Western Australia’s bushwalking / hiking clubs and also one of the oldest clubs, with a considerable depth of experience to share.

Members enjoy a range of bushwalking activities, mostly close to Perth. Our peak walking program (April-November) includes weekly half-day or day walks, and also some overnight backpacking in the WA region. Our summer activities also include easier river and beach walks, cycling and canoeing/kayaking. Our members also enjoy mingling socially at various Club events throughout the year.

We also encourage our members to develop bushwalking skills and self-reliance. We offer skills development in navigation (map and compass, and GPS), first-aid and walk leadership.

Non-members are very welcome to visit us at our Club meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month (February to November) at Heathcote Cultural Centre, Applecross (email pbwsocial@gmail.com for details). Or even better: Book your place now to join us on one of our regular introductory walks for intending new members!
