GET OUT THERE,.... GO FURTHER ..... and .....MORE OFTEN  with Perth Bushwalkers Club!

Celebrating 50 years

Update: COVID-19/Corona virus and PBW walks

We are the largest and most active Western Australian bushwalking club - and one of the oldest - with a considerable depth of experience to share.

Members enjoy a range of bushwalking activities, most of them within an hours drive from Perth, where we always to endevour to carpool.

Our winter walking program from March to November includes midweek and weekend walks, regular multi-day hikes and basecamp hiking in the greater WA region.

Our summer activities involve walking, cycling and kayaking in and around Perth, and we offer our members the opportunity to meet socially at various club events throughout the year, often with interesting speakers and a variety of related topics.

We encourage and support our members to develop bushwalking skills and self-reliance, through skills development in navigation (map, compass and GPS), first-aid and walk leadership.

Non-members are very welcome to visit us at our Club meetings held on various week-days throughout the year from February to November, usually at the Heathcote Cultural Centre, Applecross (email for details).

Even better: Book your place now to join us on one of our regular introductory walks for intending new members.
